Testimonial to God’s Healing Power

I rarely speak of this, but perhaps now is the time to share. My story unfolds as follows. I have misshapen eyes that put me at risk for retinal tears. I have been warned to watch for signs of a retinal tear, including flashing lights in my vision, and to seek help immediately if I experience those symptoms.

I was driving from home to Franklin, TN, when I started seeing flashing lights. I was frightened and called out to God for help and to fix my eyes. The flashing lights stopped. A little while later, the flashing lights began again and I again called out to God for healing. Once more, the flashing lights stopped. Then for a third time, the flashing lights began again. I said to God “they’re back” and the flashing lights went away and did not return.

My vision was not affected by this experience and at my next eye exam, nothing was mentioned about having had a retinal tear. I firmly believe that God healed my eyes three times with His perfect work. I share this so that all may know that God still performs healing miracles in our world today.
